I've been back from Utah for a little over a week now. We had a nice trip, it's a very beautiful place. I took tons of pictures, I haven't even gone through half of them yet. I'll post a few soon.

It was hard being away from my husband for so long. I can promise one thing, I'll never travel alone with the kids again. When we got to the airport in Salt Lake City we were pretty much rushed to the gate because they wanted to stick us on an earlier flight that was still on the ground. All that rushing for nothing. That flight was delayed for two hours. We still ended up departing an hour earlier than our original flight was supposed to, which was nice, but the rush was very unnecessary and difficult with two small children. When we got to Denver our flight to Indianapolis was delayed three times. Apparently there was some bad weather the night before so they were only using one runway. We were stuck in that airport for about 5 hours. Gabe was sick. Alexis was tired and cranky. I'm telling you, never again.

A little rewind here...Gabe spiked a high fever the day before we left Utah so he had to visit a pediatrician there. I can't wait to get that bill. Hopefully my insurance will cover a good portion of it. I hate the high-deductible plan we have but I guess it's better than nothing. The doctor just diagnosed him with having some sort of virus. Tuesday when we got home Gabe's doctor wanted to seem him as well because of him having RSV a few months ago so we had to make that trip Tuesday morning when we got home with very little sleep. No pneumonia, luckily. Gabe's fever finally broke Thursday. By Thursday evening he had little red spots everywhere. Friday morning the spots are worse, so of course the doctor wants to see him again. Turns out he has roseola. I have no idea where he contracted that from but I'm glad it's over. He wasn't very happy about it.
